GOLD and Colored Gems on THE CARPET...

While there are SURE to be DIAMONDS GALORE...White, Yellow, and Oxidized "dip" to look or BE VINTAGE. I couldn't leave the last post without adding a few GOLD and COLORED GEM pieces that I saw at Neil Lane as well. When this look is done WELL on the Red Carpet...it just WORKS:) I HOPE we see a star who has this GLOW:) Remember Eva at the Globes? UNIQUE IS CHIC!

How Do I Love Thee...NEIL LANE!!! Inside Oscar week SPECIAL!!

THANK YOU NEIL LANE!!!...Oh how I LOVE that man..I am TRULY grateful for: all the fun times I had while styling...doing "pulls" and having some laughs while the special gems and jewels were getting ready to leave the store and go out into the world of the celebrity Red Carpet Events. Neil makes MANY celebs SHINE:) Next, I'm grateful for him creating my dream engagement ring for me (I'll leave that story for another post:) and most recently...TODAY!!! During Oscar week's CRAZINESS, Neil was SOOO KIND to allow me access to his G&J...so that I could share with YOU...a little "inside" info on LA's most treasured week of the year.

HIS PIECES ARE GENIUS!!! BEAUTIFUL!!! UNIQUE!!! Just like Neil:) I can't WAIT to see them worn on Oscar night. Whether it's the nominated starlets or the FAB wives of the majors, Neil Lane is SURE to be dripping over many lucky ladies come Sunday.

"GJJ" Best Oscar's Red Carpet Designers...Emerald Envy

I'm SOOO excited! It's almost here! All eyes are about to leave the runways and look WEST! LA...Oscar's RED CARPET. Remember last year's Gems and Jewels? It's as if "Lorraine Schwartz" won for "Best RC Jewels Designer" or something. That's how it happens. Just like that. One GREAT Red Carpet event puts you on THE MAP as a "TOP GJJ" Red Carpet Designer. Why Lorraine? Well...remember THESE? My mother always taught me "never envy another." And I don't...but just for that one night...due, only to, wearing THOSE Columbian Emeralds? Who wasn't GREEN with EMERALD ENVY??? Oh...how I GASPED!!! DIVINE. Can you even IMAGINE how POWERFUL their energy must be???

Well...this year is soon to be seen. WHO will take "TOP GJJ RC Designer?" Could it be Lorraine again? Neil Lane (LOVE HIM), Van Cleef? Chopard? Winston? Fred Leighton? Hmmm...I can't WAIT!!!!

Leave it to DRIES...

Well...leave it to Dries Van Noten. I think "someone" has found the pulse of what us ladies are REALLY FEELING. Umm...I'd like to rock my military pieces...without looking like a bum. I'd like to incorporate really great sweatshirt fabric and still be chic. I'd like...some days...to be ladylike. Some days to be boho. And some days to be sleek... in more boyish lines. Oh...and I'd really love it if I had a bunch of pieces to mix and match in fabulous olive and neutral tones....with splashes of jewel toned colors here and there. Oh and lastly...is it ok to throw on my favorite leopard coat too? Dries just made it all happen:)

SPRING FLOWERS INSPIRE!!!

I just had to share a little colorful inspiration with you. I've had the utter joy of "having to" make flower arrangements prior to our house showings. We're selling our place. Anyhow...I've decided creating jewelry...creating flower arrangements...it's all the same zen-like bliss...

I bunched them together for you here...just before putting them in their proper spaces throughout the house...

American Rag...La Brea...Los Angeles. Cafe Midi brunch with my sweet friend Miriam. DELICIOUS latte, omelette, and catch up:)

Then...must browse jean bar, clothes, shoes, and of course...the jewelry counter. AND THERE THEY WERE!!! "Two's Company" bangles....super chic. uber fun. 32.00 each??? WHAT?! SOLD:)

I LOVE THIS. Although, I would not decorate a whole room in this vibe, it is the perfect eclectic junque to chic up the place:) I imagine being curled up, reading, with a vintage chandelier...above stage right:) Yes.
